Helen chooses too make the cakes by hand becasue it is very cheap option. But now that helen has big branches such as sainsburys wanted her product to be stocked in their shops we will have to work extra hard to get the right amount of cakes that the shops want. They may want a small amount say 35 cakes or they chould ask for say 600 cakes! The advantage of making her cakes by hand is that it is very cheap she doesnt need to pay too run the machines and she would'nt need to pay staf.
ReplyDeleteIf she makes them by hane , it will me much cheaper than buying machiens and also they will be fresh and she will know all the inredients in there . The downfall to her making the cakes by hand is that it will take a long time , so the job will be time consuming , also she can only make a certain batch at a time because she will not have the tools or oter things such as oven space , to cook the cakes . Also if she makes them by hand she doenst have to employee alot of people .
ReplyDeleteHelen probably chooses to make cakes by hand because it is alot cheaper than buying machines and also better for the enviroment. The disadvantages are that it will take alot longer and she may have to employ more staff to help her, which will cost her money as she will have to pay their wages.
ReplyDeleteShe makes food by hand because It tastes better that way and she might not be able to afford to buy machines and stuff. The disadvantages are that maybe if a worker doesn't wash their hand or something then a load of customers could get ill. And by hand it takes longer to make, so orders for supermarkets and stuff may not be on time making everything mess up and Helen wont have much time off for holidays and stuff.
ReplyDeletei think that Helen chooses to make the cakes by hand because it costs less, uses natural ingredients, makes it more homely and special. but the disadvantages of this is that the process is slow, takes up a lot of time to individually make each batch and she does not have enough hands so has to employ more staff to help make it and so that will cost more money for Helen and her business

helen choses to make the puddings by hand because she will stand out with a cake that is made by hand yet still sold in big supermarkets. it makes the cake morwe personal, and home like.
ReplyDeletethe disadvantages of this are that it is a slower process, and take longer to produce large quantities, she will need more workers, and can only produce batch sizwe qauntitiies unlike factorys that produce on a mass scale.
so that her customers will enjoy her cakes and then because they cant get the same cake anywhere else her customers will keep coming back again. the disadvantage of this hand made process is that it takes a lot of time just to make a small amout of her cakes.

Helen has chosen to make cakes by hand because she makes them really welll and also you can charge more money for something that is hand made because it is manual labour for making them and it will taste better because you know what is in it. it take slonger to make them and you will have to put loads of time out of your business into making them from your profit.

it would taste better if you make it by hand, wouldnt have to buy much equipment for it just the stuff you need to make it by hand. The disadvantage of making cakes by hand is that it wll take so much longer per cake to make and you may need more staff to do this.
ReplyDeletei think helen chooses to make her puddings by hand so it still has an original feel to her products and they havent been mass producted which could change the qualilty of the puddings, also alot of care has gone into each pudding. disadvantages are that it will take a lot longer and supermarkets may look for alternative quicker companies.

helen chooses make every cake by hand because she wants every cake to be of the same quality as all of the others. there is one main disadvantage to doing this. The disadvantage is that she isnt making the most of her time. as she could buy a machine so that the cakes are made quicker and she can do some other stuff.
ReplyDeletei think she chooses to make them by hand becuase it is cheaper in the longterm and they can promise their customers good fresh food that they know is good for their customers ans the customers will know the food their is good too.
ReplyDeleteThe disadvantages of making the puddings like this is that it is hard work and it takes alot of time to run the factory and the farm.

She chooses to make the cakes by hand because she wants them to be of the same quality, the main disadvantage of making cakes this way is she can't make them in huge quantities so it's not making the most of her time.
ReplyDeleteBy continuing to make her cakes my hand, she's setting herself part from other cake manufacturers. Customers will get a more personal feel from teh cakes, knowing they are hand made, and not made in a factory, they know that hard work and care has gone into them. This is creating a better image for her businesses, inviting people to buy her brand of cakes. The advantages of this are that she is closer to her business, and can over look everything. she will have closer bonds with her staff which creates a happier working enviroment, meaning better quality products.
ReplyDeleteI think that helen decides to make her cakes by hand because she says that by doing this it is making them traditionally. This way, they are made more cafefully.
ReplyDelete- disadvantages is that it would take alot longer.
Helen chooses to make the cakes by hand because she wants them to be of the same quality that they've always been. This should make her more money if more customers are buying her products because they are of a good quality.
ReplyDeleteThe disadvantages of this are that they can only make a limited amount per day and she has to pay each of her emloyees because they are being made by hand instead of using machines.

ReplyDeleteHte disadvantes of making cakes my hand is that they will take longer to make and are harder to make in mass productiong so they will not make us much money as they may sell out really easily. She makes them by hand as they may taste nicer and are freshly made for the customers which they will prefere than old cakes that have been made by a miker
ReplyDeleteSo people feeel the love and care of her cakes. Plus homemade is meant to be 'better'. Not as many made and its slower etc. She choose to make them this way.
