Read the Richer Sounds Case Study on page 134. Do you like the idea of working for a company with the approach to people management that Richer sounds has? Explain your answer.

  1. I think this is a good approach with employees as keeping them can save money as you won`t have to provide new training or do job advertising to find new staff every few months.
    Also 86% of employees are proud to say they work there this is good because if you enjoy your job you`ll want to do it well but if you don`t enjoy your job then you will do the least work you have to. I also think that not having a uniform makes the working enviroment feel alot more relaxed and a better place to be.

  2. Richer sounds has a good approach to its people mangement and would be a good place to work for.
    It is good that all the employees feel relaxed in the work place and you get things done. The insentive and rewards are good to as they work as good motivation for your employees.
    It is also good that they communicate regularly to motivate staff. You can work better when having fun in a team.
    It would be good to work there as it is very open working environment providing great motivation.

  3. yes i do like the idea of wokring in a company with the approch richer sound has because there of lot of little perks in the business like holday homes there are also other thing like a suggestion scheme and for every idea you put in you get a £5 bonus and to only have 20 ideas and there is a high salarie there are also basic rule in the business and 86% of there emplotess say they the are proud to work their

I think that the richer sounds has a good approach to people management because they motivate their workers meaning the workers will feel recognised for what they're doing therefore will feel appreciated and noticed making them work harder and because its a fun place to be then you will work harder because you will enjoy working there.

I do like the idea of the approach to people management that richer sounds has because it seems well rewarded if you work really hard and your own opinions and suggestions will be taken in and will be thought about which would be really good because then you know that one of your ideas may be used towards that business. And there is good communitcation between richer sounds and hes employees which is very good and is needed in when you have your own business.

  6. i think that richer sounds has a good idea on how to keep staff motivated i think that working for richer sounds with the approach he has is good because if you are motivated you are more likly to work harder also if you are happy you will enjoy it and want to be there working.

  7. I think that Richer Sounds' approach to people management and motivation is a really good idea as it gets the employees to work to their full potential. I like the idea that have a suggestion scheme, so if somebody disagrees with something or has an idea for an improvement, it can be shared with the company.

  11. I think that Richer Sounds has a good approach to his workers, he does this by motivate his wrokers. Because it is a fun place to work the workers will work harder because it is more enjoyable. All og the emplpyees feel relaxed whilse working therefore getting the things done.

  12. yes, i would enjoy working for this company and can see why others enjoy it.
    the good thing about this business is they are very generous and treat their work force really well.
    for example at christmas they article explains how they give away free massages, facials, and pedicures; i think what they're trying to achieve by treating there work force well is better work, this proves to work as most people ussually work harder if they enjoy the work. they also explain well how they give money for ideas given, this is also a very succesful tequenique as it seems to get the staff more involoved and think more about the enviroment they're working in. the key word at the bottom of the article is loyalty, this is a huge word as all the work force seem to be happy and loyal

  13. yes because it sounds like a friendly, comfortable and layed back approach to working in a shop. there are many things that i like about the people management schemes they have in place, they are;
    -they was basic rules to insure that staff are well looked after and feel appreciated E.g. it states in their rules that they must give rewards to staff if they do good, they must make the job fun for employees, they must communicate with employees, they must give recognition to employees that have done well by saying 'well done and thank you'. they also want loyalty from the staff and so give loyalty to themm.
    - another good aspect is that they encourage staff to wear casual cloths.

  14. Richer Sounds has a positive appeal to the employees. They want their employees to be able to produce a high amount of effort into the business and in return give them there rights to work happy. i feel that it is better to work as a team with good spirt than to work on your own in complete silence. The 5 rules are a very good way to influcient your team to produce a high amount of work. staff work better in a good environment.

  15. I would enjoy woking for the company because of many reasons.
    The first reason is that it seems layed back as they make sure you are comfortable while working which would be good as you can get the best out of you!
    The second reason is that you can also haev fun while at work and still get your work done and do a great job. I can prove this as it says 90% of people have fun at work and 86% are pround to work there meaning it must be a good job.
    Also it memtions perks you can gain from working there which is always a bonus!

  16. i think that i would like the idea of working at richer sounds as you get to work in your causual clothes and you get treated well. also i think i would like to work at richer sounds as you get a decent pay and all the perks also you can suggest things that can be approved.
