ad the 'Trading Standards' case study on page 169 of the black books. Have you, or somebody you know, ever been a victim of any of the dishonest business practises identified in the case study? Briefly explain what happened. How did this make you or them feel. If you haven't personally been affected see if you can find a news article on the internet where Trading Standards have had to intervene. Briefly explain the article.

  1. Previously, someone paid a large sum of money for what they thought was an iPad on eBay. When their product arrived, it turned out to be a bag of potatoes stored in an iPad box. I personally do not know these people but i can't see them being too happy about this....

  2. For example, you could go on holiday abroad and see a t-shirt stall and then the person working at the stall is saying that the t-shirts are 100% real when they're not. It could make the person feel sad when they come back because they could go out wearing it and they look stupid or someone makes fun of them saying its not real because they could afford the real thing which then could lead to bullying and make that person feel upset. :)

  3. I once bought fake Yu-gi-oh cards when I was on holiday and we went to this flee market thing. Although the cards were meant to come out a year later, which they did. But I was still compeletely heartbroken.

  4. some bought expensive designer clothes of of ebay and when the custtomer recieved the clothes they noticed it was counterfeit.

  6. goverment set up organizations to protect people getting ripped off or fake items and it will stop the public from getting in trouble for owning them.

  7. government set up organizations to protect the consumer. One of these is the trading standards. Counterfeit goods are illegally copied items and are usually not up to the normal standards of the original product. unsuspecting customers might buy the copies in good faith. from diabeto, tony pulis (next united manager HAHAHH), ed sheeran and bruno #canipizzathen #trayz
