Read the case study on page 139 of the Black books. Try and spot four things that Stan said which you think are illegal in employment law.

    Can't force to retire.
    People on wheelchairs don't have access to the pub.
    If pregnant, still able to work if you choose to.

    1) Disabled Access
    2) No maternity/paternity leave
    3) Part-time and full-time should be paid the same p/h.
    4) Discriminating the employees.

  3. - you can not pay part time workers less money because they are part time
    - you can't get rid of pregnant staff because they are pregnant
    - you can not force someone to retire because of their age
    - you can't use tips as a form of payment so you can't lower someone's wages if they are paid the minimum wage
