I think shared maternity/paternity leave is a good idea and will be successful because men will now be able to take up on an additional paternity leave like women.
However i think the shared maternity/paternity leave is a bad idea and will fail because it would put a great strain on the government if both parents are not working and are recieving statutory pay. In this economic crisis we can not be able to take this sort of strain at any point of the present time period.
I think shared maternity/paternity leave is a good idea and will be successful because it will enable both parents to bond with the child, and also have a good income coming in from both parents.
